• 8/03: Married
• 7/07: I turned 32 and the clock immediately started ticking; the “I am ready for a baby” thing kicked in full force
• 8/07: Stopped BCP to start getting my body ready; used protection through 12/07 (silly me!)
• 1/08: Officially started TTC
• 4/08: Started acupuncture after 66-day cycle
• 10/08: First RE visit; let the tests begin!
• 11-12/08: Testing process. Results were all clear for both of us.
• 1/09: Surprise! Diagnosis is unexplained infertility! RE gives us 3 options (medicated cycle, IUI with or without meds); we decide to try on our own for a bit
• 4/09: Casually continue TTC (no POAS, no reminders); stop acupuncture
• 6/09: Begin next steps for 1st IUI (blood work)
• 7/09: IUI#1 on 7/20 with 100mg of Clomid, Ovidrel and progesterone suppositories (BFN)
• 8/09: IUI#2 on 8/20, same meds as July (BFN)
• 9/09: IUI#3, on 9/23, same meds as July (BFN)
• 10/09: IUI#4, on 10/22, 150mg of Clomid (BFN)
• 11/09: Taking a break (blood work & hydrosonogram to prepare for IVF); start acupuncture again
• 12/09: Begin IVF cycle on CD21 (12/26)
• 1/10: IVF retrieval (1/23) and single embryo transfer (1/27) , 13 embabies on ice, BFN
• 2/10: Begin medicated FET #1
• 3/10: Transfer two embryos (3/18), 11 embabies on ice.
• 3/30/10: First ever BFP!
• 4/15/10: Miscarriage confirmed
• 5/10: Break cycle
• 6/10: Begin medicated FET #2
• 7/10: Transfer two embryos (7/8), 6 embabies still on ice.
• 7/20/10: BFN confirmed
• 7/21/10: WTF appointment with our RE; get records for 2nd opinions
• 7/10: Begin medicated FET #3
• 8/9/10: Second opinion appointment #1
• 8/30/10: Second opinion appointment #2 cancelled because we loved the 2nd opinion #1 RE
• 8/10: Transfer four embryos (8/24) for FET #3
• 9/7/10: Beta confirmed BFN
• 9/10 & 10/10: Switch REs; immunology & genetics testing; hysteroscopy; final WTF appointment with RE #1
• 10/10: All testing comes back normal except I’m homozygous for MTHFR c-mutation; Start acupuncture again with new acupuncturist
• 11/10: IVF #2 with PGS/CGH embryo testing
• 11/17/10: Transfer 2 hatching normal blasts, 1 on ice
• 11/27/10: + HPT!
• 11/28/10: 12dp5dt beta = 1,400
• 12/1/10: 14dp5dt beta = 3,138
• 12/10/10: First ultrasound at 6w0d
• 7/15/11: Twin boys arrived at 37w0d!!!
