FET: CD22 Update

So things have been slow going because I’m just goin with the flow. We had a fantastic weekend. We dined out, ran some errands, and ended up having a fantastic brunch on Sunday. We classed it up a bit this time though — prosecco instead of unlimited sangria. Work has been really busy, but in a good way. This week is really flying by. Tomorrow I have a same day business trip. You know, the kind where you fly in and out for a 1 hour meeting? Yeah, fun times. At least Friday will be here before I know it.

My next RE appointment is Friday (CD24). I think they’ll just be doing blood work, so no date with the dildocam for me. I’m generally feeling great. I haven’t been able to work out as much as I would like, but all in all my vote is still for a FET cycle over a stim cycle any day.

My hot flashes have subsided thanks to a lower dose of Lupron. I’m going to acupuncture a little credit, too. The only new things I’m feeling include:

  • Constipation has been a problem of late. It seems that things are simply more slow going.
  • I have a huge, sore blemish on my jaw line. Not pretty.
  • I’m experiencing normal post-ovulation heaviness in my lady bits. This is weird because I didn’t ovulate this cycle due to the lovely Lupron. I guess it’s the estrogen kicking in. Everything feels normal so I guess things are moving along as they should.

I have an acupuncture session tonight so now that the heat issue is behind us, we can get back to focusing on building up that lining!

Two weeks to go. I already told my colleagues that I’ll be taking some more time off for another medical procedure the week after next. They were again very understanding. Done and done.

Wouldn’t it be funny if the transfer falls on St. Patrick’s Day? No green beer for me. Guess I’ll have to stick to green tea (decaffeinated, of course)!

  1. I hate the constipation side effect. It’s the worst. Try some prune…sometimes that helps me. As a wise man once told me, “Nothing more underrated than a good bowel movement.”

Good to hear that your enjoying the down time!

  2. Glad you partied it up. How exciting it will be here before you know it girl. So excited for you! xoxo

  3. 2 weeks?? That sounds so soon! Better have some pre-St. Paddy’s day beer this weekend, just in case.

Flaxseed would do the trick plus it is good for fertility.Sprinkle it in yogurt or cereal that will get things moving and shaking!

  5. Glad things are going well 🙂 Getting close to your transfer!
