I’m a litte behind in my updates on the boys. They are 15 months now – as of 2 weeks ago actually. At their check up they were:
Baby A: 33.25″ and just shy of 27lbs
Baby B: 34″ and just shy of 26lbs
I have some big boys! The doctor said they’re roughly the size of a 21 month old. They’re walking and talking and biting and climbing and dancing and fighting and hugging and kissing and playing. So so fun. And lots of work! Every day I’m amazed with new words they can say or new things they comprehend. And man, they’re cute. Baby B is super affectionate and loves to smooch, which Baby A likes to hug but does not enjoy giving kisses.
They love books and check out new ones from the library each week. They’re using fewer signs and replacing them with words now. Baby A can say Baby B’s name and it’s super cute. Baby B doesn’t attempt to say his brother’s name, but to be fair it’s harder to pronounce for a little one. They definitely have twin chatter going on now.
They love to eat – preferably with spice. Baby A doesn’t like meat or cheese much, but besides that these guys can EAT.
They’re still napping twice a day. I’m worried about what the time change will do to them this weekend. Sometimes Baby A wakes up at 5:30. That means he might be waking up at 4:30. Not cool. Thankfully he always snuggles with me for a while before officially being up for the day — and I cherish those moments when I can soak in his smell without him wiggling all over the place.
They don’t watch much TV but they do like an occasional episode of Yo Gabba Gabba (or as they say “gagbagagba”) and the gangnam style video (they can’t say that yet).
We’re also getting ready to start potty training. Wish us luck!
